Related, but slightly unrelated is this cool website devoted to 'Wise Traditions in Food, Farming and the Healing Arts'. Basically, if it wasn't practiced before 1900 then it's not worth practicing. At least thats the gist i'm getting after about 30 seconds of reading. Check it, The Weston A. Price Foundation
